SINK scores are independent editorial assessments. They represent the subjective judgment of the SINK editorial team applied consistently using a published methodology to publicly available information. They are expressions of opinion — not statements of verified fact, not endorsements, and not accusations.
Scores do not purport to represent the complete environmental performance of any company. They reflect what can be assessed from publicly available data at the time of scoring. Companies may have initiatives, data, or context not captured in public disclosures.
SINK has no relationship, affiliation, sponsorship, or financial arrangement with any company scored unless explicitly disclosed. No company can pay to influence, alter, or suppress a SINK score.
SINK scores are not financial advice, investment recommendations, legal opinions, or professional guidance of any kind. They should not be used as the sole basis for any investment, purchasing, employment, or business decision.
You should conduct your own research and seek appropriate professional advice before making any decision based on information found on this site.
SINK scores are derived from publicly available information including but not limited to: company sustainability reports, CDP disclosures, regulatory filings, news reporting, SBTi databases, and other public sources. Sources are cited where possible.
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant or guarantee that any information on this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Data may be outdated, incomplete, or subject to interpretation. Scores are updated periodically but may not reflect the most recent company disclosures or actions.
If you believe any score contains a factual error, you can submit a challenge through our public challenge process. We review all challenges submitted with evidence and update scores where the evidence supports a correction.
SINK scores constitute fair comment on matters of public interest. Environmental performance of companies is a matter of legitimate public concern. Our assessments are based on publicly available information, applied through a consistently applied and publicly documented methodology, and published in good faith.
All scores are open to correction. Any company or individual who believes a score is inaccurate is invited to submit a challenge with supporting evidence. We aim to review all evidence-based challenges in a prompt and reasonable timeframe and commit to correcting scores where warranted.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SINK and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of this site, reliance on any SINK score, or any information published on this site, regardless of the form of action or the basis of the claim.

SINK offers paid assessment services for companies seeking a sustainability score. The scope, pricing, and deliverables for each service tier are displayed at the time of purchase. By completing a purchase, you agree to the pricing and service description as presented.
All prices displayed on the site are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Pricing may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. SINK does not store your full card details. All payment data is handled in accordance with Stripe's security standards and PCI compliance. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Assessments are delivered digitally. Delivery timeframes are provided at the time of purchase and may vary depending on the complexity of the assessment and the availability of public data. We will notify you by email once your assessment is complete.
You may cancel your order within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the assessment has not yet been started. This is in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Once an assessment has been started or delivered, it is non-refundable. The score is produced using our published methodology and reflects our independent editorial judgment — dissatisfaction with the result is not grounds for a refund.
If we are unable to complete an assessment due to insufficient publicly available data or any other reason on our part, a full refund will be issued.
To request a refund or cancellation, contact us at hello@sinkproject.com.
Some services may be offered on a recurring subscription basis. Where applicable, subscriptions will auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel a subscription at any time before the next renewal date.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We may update these terms at any time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

By submitting a challenge, verification, or any other contribution to SINK, you grant SINK a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, display, and publish your contribution as part of the SINK database. Contributions may be attributed to you or published anonymously in accordance with your preferences at the time of submission.
You represent that any evidence or sources you submit are, to the best of your knowledge, accurate and that you have the right to share them.
You agree not to use this site to: submit false or misleading challenges; manipulate scores through coordinated inauthentic submissions; scrape data for commercial use without permission; harass, defame, or threaten any individual or company; or interfere with the operation of the site.
We reserve the right to remove contributions, suspend accounts, and take any action necessary to maintain the integrity of the database.
You agree to indemnify and hold SINK harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the site, your contributions to the database, or your violation of these terms.

The methodology is published for transparency and reproducibility — this does not constitute a licence to use the SINK name, branding, or scores for commercial purposes without written permission.
You may reference and link to SINK scores for editorial, journalistic, research, or personal purposes. You may not represent SINK scores as your own or use them in commercial products without permission.
Some SINK assessments may use automated tools to assist with initial data gathering or analysis. All scores are subject to editorial review before publication. The use of automated tools does not reduce our commitment to accuracy or our responsibility for the scores we publish.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the site (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the site.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at hello@sinkproject.com and make a good faith effort to resolve the dispute informally. We commit to responding to formal disputes in a prompt and reasonable timeframe.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver of any provision shall only be effective if in writing and signed by SINK.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of this site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update any section of this page at any time. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
